Asian Spicy Citrus Wings
Recipe:
16-20 Bone-In Chicken Wings
Sauce:
4 C. Chicken Broth
1 t. Sriracha
3 T. Hoisin Sauce
1/4 C. Rice Vinegar
1/4 C. Mirin Wine
6 Green Onions Sliced
3 Cloves Minced Garlic
Juice of One Lime
1/2 C. Ponzu-Citrus Sauce
2 T. Chopped Cilantro
1/4 t. Crushed Red Pepper
1 Lime cut into wedges
Combine all sauce ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil for 5 Minutes. Cool 3 cups for a marinade. Continue cooking remaining sauce until reduced by half and thickened. You will use this sauce to baste wings during baking process.
Take cooled 3 cups of sauce and put into a 1-gallon zip close bag. Add wings to bag and marinate for at least 3 hours or up to overnight.
When ready to cook wings, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place marinated wings in a shallow roasting pan, spreading wings out in an even layer. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
Turn wings over, using sauce from roasting pan to baste wings. Cover and cook an additional hour. Garnish with lime wedge and serve while hot.
